Warhol created the Banana screen print in1966 and in 1967 used the iconic print for his design for one ofthe most revered album covers in rock and roll history.. Thebanana peel was screen printed onto laminated plastic that could be pulled offand the pink fruit was screen printed onto the styrene and has since become arare collector’s item as well as become one of the most recognizable pieces inpop culture.
This Warhol icon is nowreinterpreted with the Andy Warhol 20” Banana Dunny fiberglass sculpture. Each Dunny sculpture is 20-inches tall, made of premium fiberglasswith no articulation and are hand-painted in the USA using high-qualityautomotive paint for enhanced clarity and long-lasting quality.
